I'm so close to finishing a painting iv been working on! I refuse to upload it until it's finished to the best of my abilities! I know I should be getting on with it rather than procrastinating by writing this lol.
I really need to speed up my process! Has anyone got any tips?
I'm in a really good mood today! I'm feeling very positive about my work... I'm currently doing a portrait for a friend (which I shall upload when I finish it!) I hope you are all enjoying the summer!
I've been working completely in Photoshop lately... no more Painter! I do love Painter but decided to keep the piece simple by not using too many brushes. I'm even considering doing an actual painting... with actual paint! It did get me thinking though, how did Da Vinci cope? Art must have been so difficult without computers! Anyways... how are you all doing?
I've just uploaded quite a bit of my final project. It was getting addictive but I'll leave uploading more for later! I find it odd that I have totally finished Uni now... I think I have learned a lot and my art has come a long way since I started!
Future plans: Next year I shall be starting my MA at Teeside in 3D character modeling/texturing. For the summer I plan to start a children's book (not young children!) Age range will be 10-13. I want to produce something like Alice in Wonderland or Grave of the Fireflies (Studio Gibley) with illustrations. I've got a story planned out so will start writing and illustrating that as soon as I recover from deadlines!..... and tidy my room!!
Anyway I hope you're all doing well, and for all of you that finished uni too... best of luck in the future!!!
Is it just me? Or does art always have to go wrong the first time? Then you re-do the piece entirely and it goes right... it's just starting to frustrate me a little! Lol never mind hope you're all doing well (-:
